Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has reversed his decision to play for Goa in the upcoming domestic season. Jaiswal, who was playing for Mumbai until this season, had decided to leave the Mumbai Ranji team & play for Goa. Jaiswal had also requested an NOC from the Mumbai Cricket Association, and he immediately got the NOC.
Now, in a latest development, Jaiswal has reversed his decision to move to Goa from Mumbai. Jaiswal has requested the Mumbai Cricket Association to withdraw his NOC. In an email written to the MCA, Jaiswal had stated that he wanted to shift base to Goa from Mumbai as he was planning to shift to Goa with family, a decision which has now changed.
"I undersigned, would like request your goodself to consider my request in withdrawing my NOC given to me as I had some family plans to shift to Goa, which, for the time being, have been curtailed, So I would request the MCA to allow me to represent Mumbai in the upcoming domestic season, I had not submitted the NOC neither to the BCCI nor to the Goa Cricket Association" Jaiswal wrote in his email.
The MCA is yet to respond to the opener's request as it remains uncertain whether Jaiswal will be able to represent the Mumbai team this year. It is also expected that the Mumbai Cricket Association is set to consult the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) & the Goa Cricket Association (GCA).

In April, Jaiswal had applied for an NOC for a shift from Mumbai to Goa as he offered a captaincy role in the Goa domestic team. This did come as a surprise to fans & the former players as Yashasvi had started his journey in Cricket from Mumbai through age-group cricket.
