The third edition of the Women's Premier League (WPL) is set to begin on Friday (14th February) and run until March 15th. In its short history, the league has fetched many masses and has become one of the most popular leagues for Women in India. A total of 5 teams from different territories compete in the WPL. With fast-paced action, big runs, match-turning spells & most importantly the super catches, the fans will see some of the top female cricketers from India & overseas showcase their talent in the WPL.

Each team will play against each other twice in the round-robin stage in a home-and-away format, the top 3 teams qualify for the knockout stages, while the table topper directly qualifies for the finals, while the 2nd & 3rd placed teams play the eliminator where the winner takes on the finalist.

WPL 2025 looks to be an exciting competition, with many seasoned campaigners playing in the 5-team tournament to win the ultimate glory. Players like Harmanpreet Kaur, Meg Lanning, Ellyse Perry, and Marizanne Kapp will be seen playing in the WPL this year.
The fans will be able to watch WPL on the Sports18 network while the fans can live stream the tournament on the Jiocinema app.
