Another significant achievement in cricket is almost upon Kohli. With a record of 12,000 runs in the 20-over format, the 35-year-old might become the first Indian to do so. 11995 runs at 41.40 have been accumulated by Kohli. After Chris Gayle (14562), Shoaib Malik (12993), and Kieron Pollard (12390), he might be the fourth player to accomplish the milestone. The star batter is just 6 runs away from becoming the first Indian batter to score 12000 runs in T20 cricket. The 35-year-old batter has so far scored 11,995 runs in T20.

Virat eye’s success

The next Indian Premier League season will see superstar batsman Virat Kohli of India pursuing several goals. On March 22, Royal Challengers Bangalore will play the inaugural match of the Twenty-fourth Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) against the reigning Chennai Super Kings.

In the most recent IPL season, Kohli, the tournament's all-time top run scorer, will look to silence his doubters. The former captain of the Royal Challengers of Bengal will be battling not just to lead his side to their first-ever championship in 2024, but also to secure a place in India's T20 World Cup roster.

Virat Kohli still on the top -

The 35-year-old's status in India's T20 International team has recently come under scrutiny due to his dearth of playing time in the game's shortest format. Even though he leads all-time in the shortest format of cricket, Kohli hasn't recently participated in a T20 international match for India.

For the first time since the Australia 2022 T20 World Cup, he participated in the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan. India defeated Afghanistan 3-0 in the series thanks to Kohli's 29 runs scored in two games.
