The English Cricket Team has suffered a major blow ahead of their home season, as their regular captain and ace All-Rounder Ben Stokes is ruled out of the upcoming English summer due to a left hamstring tear.
Stokes got injured while playing for the Northern Superchargers in the ongoing season of 'The Hundred'.
"Scans took place at Leeds on Tuesday revealing Stokes has a left hamstring tear, he is all set to miss the home test series against Sri Lanka". England and Wales Cricket Board concluded.
Stokes is now eyeing a comeback in the tour of Pakistan, where England is scheduled to play 3 tests in Multan, Karachi, and Rawalpindi respectively.
Wishing you all the best in your recovery, Ben 👊
