Smriti Mandhana has signed a pre-draft deal with the reigning champions Adelaide Strikers for the upcoming season of the Women's Big Bash League.
Strikers are the fourth franchise that Mandhana will play for in the Women's Big Bash League, she has earlier represented the Brisbane Heat (2016-17), Hobart Hurricanes (2018-19), and Sydney Thunder (2021), Mandhana opted out of the 2022 season due to workload management, she opted out during the drafts of 2023, she chose to play in the domestic tournament.

Both Mandhana and Williams share a great rapport with each other, the duo first helped RCB to win the WPL earlier this year, they have also worked previously in 'The Hundred' with Southern Brave.

The Women's Big Bash League is set to begin on October 27 and run till December 1. The Adelaide Strikers will be in action from the very first day taking on the Brisbane Heat in the opening match of the tournament.
