Big Blow For TSK and South Africa

Texas Super Kings and South Africa fast bowler Gerald Coetzee has been ruled out of the MLC 2024 with a low-grade left-side strain.

The South African Pacer suffered the blow in the team's very first game against Los Angeles Knight Riders where he returned with the figures of 1-28 in 4 overs.

The Texas Super Kings haven't opted for a replacement yet. They decided to play Dwayne Bravo against Washington Freedom where rain played a spoilsport and no result was possible.

Coetzee is in a race against time to be fit for the test out of the Caribbean scheduled to begin next month. South Africa is currently languishing the 7th place as they lost a crucial away series in New Zealand where a make-shift team was sent to play.

They also lost a crucial 2nd Test match to India at Cape Town earlier in the year. South Africa play their first test on August 7 in Port Of Spain, and they then to move to Guyana to play the 2nd Test from August 15.
