Injury Blow for India

On the eve of the 1st T20I between India & Bangladesh, the men in blue suffered an injury blow in the form of Shivam Dube. The seam bowling all-rounder has suffered a back injury, the exact details of the injury are still not yet disclosed by the board or the team management.

Dube last featured for India in the T20I series against Sri Lanka in August, where he played just a lone T20I scoring 13. India has been announced Tilak Varma as the replacement for Dube.

The young left-hander has been in and around the circuit for close to a year now, Varma was the only shining line in the IPL for Mumbai Indians in an otherwise disappointing campaign.

Team India takes on Bangladesh in the first T20I at Gwalior on October 6th, they then move to the capital city New Delhi to play the 2nd T20I on October 9th, the final game of the series is scheduled at Hyderabad on October 12th.
