Sairaj Bahutule To Join Team India As Interim Bowling Coach

Bahutule is set to fly with the Indian team for the tour of Sri Lanka

With Morne Morkel not available to take part in India's upcoming tour of Sri Lanka, the Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) has made a temporary arrangement to fill the vacancy of bowling coach on an interim basis.

BCCI has appointed Sairaj Bahutule a former Leg Spin All-Rounder and a Former Indian International for the role. Bahutule is associated with NCA working closely with VVS Laxman, he along with Laxman is a popular face whenever India goes on tours of Ireland and Zimbabwe.

The Indian Team is set to depart for Sri Lanka on Monday in afternoon via a charter flight to Mumbai. South African Fast Bowler Morne Morkel has declared himself unavailable for the tour due to personal reasons.

He is expected to join the team for the home series against Bangladesh.
