Rajasthan Royals have officially roped in Former Indian Head Coach Rahul Dravid for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Dravid recently won the 20 overs World Cup in West Indies & USA beating South Africa in the finals by 7 runs against South Africa.
Dravid had previously played for Rajasthan Royals from 2011-13 seasons. Post that Dravid became the mentor of the side and remained in that role for the Royals till 2015. Dravid had coached the Delhi Capitals then (Delhi Daredevils) for two seasons in 2016 & 2017.

"Dravid is a great man, he has achieved great things as a player, but as a coach what he has achieved as a coach in the last one and half years is extraordinary. Dravid has previously coached and played for this side, and his presence will impact our side in a good way and help us to challenge the title". Sangakkara stated

Dravid has already begun his work at the Royals. He will take a call on the squad once BCCI announces the retention rules.
