Punjab FC have roped in Midfielder Ezequiel Vidal ahead of ISL 2024-25

The Punjab FC on Tuesday announced that they have signed Argentine midfielder Ezequiel Vidal for their upcoming season of hero ISL 2024-25.

The Argentine player last played in the Indonesian Top Flight side Persia Tangerang. The 29-year-old was born in Bahia Blanca in Argentina and usually plays as an aggressive midfielder.

He began his professional Football career at Olimpo his hometown club, where he spent 8 years, representing the side 45 times and scoring on three occasions.

He was loaned out to Atletico Independiente in Argentina, Delfin SC in Ecuador, and Atletico Juventud in Uruguay.

He had a short stint in Rivadavia before getting snapped up by Persia Tangerang in 2022. He spent two years in the club scoring 17 goals in 60 appearances.
