Yogesh Kathuniya has won the 8th medal for India in the ongoing Paralympics 2024 in Paris. Kathuniya won the silver medal in Discus Throw in the F56 category.
The 27-year-old secured the medal with his best throw of the season, scoring 42.22 in the final. Brazil's Claudiney Batitsta took the gold medal with a throw of 46.66m.
This was Kathuniya's second medal in the Paralympics, he had won a silver medal in Tokyo too with his best throw of 44.38m.
