Yogesh Kathuniya won a silver medal in Men's Discus throw F56 category

Yogesh Kathuniya has won the 8th medal for India in the ongoing Paralympics 2024 in Paris. Kathuniya won the silver medal in Discus Throw in the F56 category.

The 27-year-old secured the medal with his best throw of the season, scoring 42.22 in the final. Brazil's Claudiney Batitsta took the gold medal with a throw of 46.66m.

Yogesh Kathuniya wins silver medal

This was Kathuniya's second medal in the Paralympics, he had won a silver medal in Tokyo too with his best throw of 44.38m.

Bright Future Ahead

Yogesh has also won 3 medals in the World Para Championships, he also won a silver medal in the Asian Games last year in the F56 category.
