Several Key players Sandeep Lamicchane, Rohit Paudel, and Dipendra Airee have recently played in the Global T20 Canada.
Nepal practiced in India before they went for the T20 World Cup, they played a couple of practice games against Gujarat and Baroda.
The main objective for Nepal to play in this series is to ensure a spot among the top 4 teams till December 2026 as this will give them entry into the World Cup qualifiers.
If Nepal fails to secure a berth in the top 4, then they will need to play in the Qualifier playoff. From this stage only four teams would go further.
