Australian spinner Matthew Kuhnemann has been reported for suspected bowling action after the end of the 2nd test against Sri Lanka at Galle.
The left-arm spinner picked 16 wickets across the two tests to end up as the leading wicket-taker of the series in Australia's 2-0 series win.
Kuhnemann will now have to undergo a 3-week mandatory testing to know whether his bowling action is legal or not. A biomechanist will analyze the spinner's action & will submit a report to the International Cricket Council (ICC). According to the ICC Guidelines, a spinner can flex their arm up to 15 °.

It is also believed that Kuhnemann won't be able to bowl in international cricket until his action is cleared but he might still be able to play Sheffield Shield matches.
"The Australian team has been notified about Matt Kuhnemann's suspected bowling action by the match officials after the conclusion of the 2nd test against Sri Lanka, we'll continue to support Matt through the process," a Cricket Australia spokesperson said.
Matt has played 124 professional matches since his debut in 2017, including 5 tests and 4 ODI's. He has played 55 Big Bash League games since 2018. This is the first time in those eight years of professional cricket that his action has been reported.
"Cricket Australia will cooperate with the ICC & the independent experts in solving this matter, but, till then there will be no comments made from us or Matthew until the dust settles down."
