1. Mahendra Singh Dhoni ( Lieutenant Colonel Indian Army)

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni is the most successful captain for India across formats, he's got all the major trophies for India in the ICC event, besides this, the maestro has also led his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings to 5 IPL titles. Dhoni apart from being a Cricketer has also served the nation as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Army.

He was the second Cricketer to be awarded this rank after the great Kapil Dev. Dhoni has often promoted the Indian Army whether it's about playing with a Camouflage cap in an ODI against Australia in 2019 post the Pulwama Attack on armed forces to having a green camouflage on the Chennai Super Kings jersey near the Shoulder Area.

7. Joginder Sharma (DSP of Haryana)

Ace Indian Fast Bowler Mohammed Siraj is the latest Indian Cricketer who has got a government job. Siraj has given many memorable performances for the Indian cricket Team, the Hyderabadi pacer is fondly remembered for his iconic spell against Sri Lanka in last year's men's Asia Cup final where Siraj ended up with the figures of 6-12 which helped India to win the Asia Cup for the 8th time.

Now, Siraj has been appointed as the DSP of Telangana Police, the fast-bowler officially took charge yesterday (12th October) in the presence of Telangana DGP Mr. Jitender and other high-rank officers.

9. Deepti Sharma

Deepti Sharma, a wily off-spinner & a gun batter in the middle order of the Indian Women's Cricket team has been appointed as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) by the Yogi Adityanath Led Uttar Pradesh Government. The off-spinner was also awarded n Rs. 3 Crore Cash Prize.

10. Umesh Yadav

Another Indian fast bowler who apart from cricket works with the government authorities is none other than Umesh Yadav. Umesh Yadav was appointed as the assistant RBI manager in its Nagpur Branch in 2017.

For India, Umesh Yadav has played 57 test matches, 75 ODI's & 9 T20Is picking up 170, 106 & 12 wickets respectively in all three formats. Umesh Yadav last represented India in an international game was the World Test Championship Final against Australia at Kennington Oval in London.
