In a major update in the sporting sector, League11, a well-known brand in the fantasy gaming sector has announced its partnership with 3 quality sides in the Pro Kabaddi League(PKL) for this season. The three teams are Bengal Warriorz, UP Yoddhas & Patna Pirates. With this development, League11 is the official fantasy partner of 3 PKL teams namely Bengal Warriorz, UP Yoddhas & Patna Pirates.
Bengal Warriorz & Patna Pirates were previously too associated with League11 last year. UP Yoddhas is the latest team to have joined forces with league11.
Bengal Warriorz is one of the top and most popular teams in the history of PKL. The Future Group-owned team won its maiden title in season 7 when they defeated Dabang Delhi K.C. in the finals in 2019. Just like every year Bengal has assembled a strong personnel in the recently conducted auctions, and look favorites to clinch the title once again. The experience of Maninder Singh will play a pivotal role in shaping up the tournament for Bengal Warrioz along with two young bloods Fazal Attrachali (Defender) & Nitesh Kumar (Defender) to bring the title home.
One of the most successful franchises in the history of PKL, the Bihar-based franchise is the only team to have played over 100 matches in PKL history. The Pirates have been one of the most consistent teams in terms of playing in the knockout stages of the tournament. Pirates won their first-ever title in the competition in 2016 when they went on to beat U-Mumba in January.
In the following year, the Pirates became the first team to successfully defend their title when they defeated Jaipur Pink Panthers in 2016 in the June window of the tournament. Later on, the Pirates went on to achieve another feat in their glorious career as they completed a hat-trick of titles when they defeated Gujarat Giants in the 2017 season. Jang Kun Lee (Raider), Shubham Shinde (Defender) & Babu M (Defender) will be the players to watchout for, for the Pirates from Patna when they step onto the mat for the first time in this year's PKL.
The GMR Group-owned UP Yoddhas is a newish franchise having made their maiden appearance in the league in 2017. Since then, the Yoddhas from UP have played in the knockout stages of the tournament almost every year. With the new season starting soon the onus will be on the top 3 key players Mahender Singh (defender), Surinder Gill (raider), and Bhavani Rajput (Raider) to get the tournament running for the Yoddhas.
