Indian bowler Kuldeep Yadav also referred as the 'Chinaman Of Indian cricket' got engaged to his childhood friend Vanshika in a private ceremony at Lucknow on Wednesday (June 4).
The ceremony was conducted privately in the city where the couple exchanged rings, which was attended by family members & close friends, including Kuldeep Yadav's close friend & India teammate Rinku Singh.
Kuldeep's fiancée, Vanshika, hails from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh; her father works in LIC. The two of them have known each other for a very long time. Their longstanding friendship has taken a big step going forward.

Although the couple has not yet announced the news on social media, however, one of the photos from the event went viral, drawing in warm wishes from fans & fellow cricketers. Kuldeep, who is known to be a private person, is said to have been sharing a close bond with Vanshika.
According to the sources close to the couple, the plans are underway to arrange the wedding ceremony following India's tour of England where India will play 5 test matches to begin their WTC cycle.
On work front, Kuldeep played in the just concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Delhi Capitals where the wrist spinner picked 15 wickets in 14 matches helping Delhi Capitals to finish 5th on the points table.
Kuldeep remains a key man in India’s bowling unit across all formats. He played a crucial role in India’s victorious campaigns at the 2024 T20 World Cup and the 2025 Champions Trophy. Since making his international debut in 2017, he has taken 181 wickets in 113 ODIs, 69 wickets in 40 T20Is, and 56 wickets from 13 Test matches.
Kuldeep is also a member of the Indian test squad, which is set to leave for the UK early next week. The first test of the series begins on June 20 at Headingley, Leeds.
