Royal Challengers Bengaluru has received some good news as their pace spearhead Josh Hazlewood is all set to return to the league, which is now set to restart from May 17th & run till June 3rd. The tournament had to be paused for a week due to military conflict between India & Pakistan.

Earlier the updates were that Hazlewood won't be able to rejoin the squad as he is nursing a shoulder injury & the tournament is also concluding close to the heels of the World Test Championship Final which is slated to begin on June 11th. But, in the last few days a lot of interactions have taken place. According to reports the RCB Think-tank had a special meeting with the Australian quickie to reconsider his decision.

Josh Set To Return To RCB

''Josh Hazlewood is all set to return to India for IPL in the last week of May, he'll be available to play for RCB in the playoffs if they qualify," Reports

There's a strong dilemma brewing regarding Starc's availability for the Delhi Capitals. The seamer hasn't confirmed his availability yet to join the DC franchise for the remainder of their campaign, which has 3 games left for DC, which can increase up to more matches if they qualify for the playoffs. The franchise has already signed Bangladeshi seamer Mustafizur Rahman for Jake Fraser-Mcgurk, who's set to miss the remainder of the matches due to personal reasons.

Now, the franchise has reportedly learned that Starc wouldn't be returning either

Starc Not To Return To DC

"Starc has now informed the Delhi franchise that he won't be returning for the remainder of the season, through an email sent to the franchise" Reports

The BCCI on Monday said it has decided to resume the league after holding extensive consultations and getting necessary clearances from the government, pushing the final to June 3 from the originally scheduled May 25.

The revised changes in the IPL schedule have made things a little difficult for the Australian & South African cricketers who have a short turnaround with the IPL final scheduled on June 3 & the WTC final is set to begin after a mere 7 days on June 11th.
