The England Cricket Team has included fiery seamer Jofra Archer in their squad for the second test against India.
Archer, 30, will make a return to the red-ball game after having last donned the whites in February 2021. Archer will add to his 13 test caps when the second test begins on July 2 in Edgbaston.
Archer made a comeback in the red-ball game in the last round of the county championship for Sussex against Durham. Coincidentally, Archer played his last test against India in 2021, post which Archer battled with injuries, including a back stress fracture that kept him out of action until 2024. Archer made his white-ball comeback in May last year.
