Jemimah Rodrigues In Big Trouble

Star batter of the Indian Women's team Jemimah Rodrigues lands up in trouble as the Khar Gymkhana canceled her membership after allegations emerged that her father Ivan Rodrigues had booked a hall using her membership for religious activities.

Some club members objected that these events that had been happening since the last year, half by Jemimah's dad and by an organization were using the hall for religious activities.

The decision was taken in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) after many members had raised complaints regarding Jemimah's father's reportedly organizing events related to religious activities.

Khar Gymkhana President Mr. Vivek Devnani in his statement stated that Jemimah's membership was cancelled after meeting with the members in the annual general meeting.

" Jemimah Rodrigues 3- three-year membership was terminated after the discussions took place between other club members in the annual general meeting"

The issue came to light when Ivan Rodrigues, who is associated with Brother Manuel Ministries, had booked the club's presidential hall for events over a year and a half. A total of 35 religious gatherings were held during this period, which reportedly violated the club's bylaws.

Jemimah Rodrigues was invited to join the club in 2023. Rodrigues is one of the most popular Women Cricketers in India country.

Rodrigues recently represented India in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup where India bowed out of the tournament in the group stages. Jemimah's performance in the World Cup wasn't up to the mark as she could only Amass 68 runs in 4 innings batting number 5.
