Team India has finally announced their squad for the upcoming Asia Cup, which is set to run from September 9th to 28th in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The squad saw the inclusion of Shubman Gill, who scored heavily in the recently concluded test series in England.
Meanwhile, Shivam Dube & Rinku Singh have retained their place after an average IPL season. The likes of Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant & Yashasvi Jaiswal haven't been picked for the multi-team event.

Mohmmed Siraj, who bowled the most overs in the England tour (188.5) & also ended up with the highest wickets in the series (23), has been rested for this event.
Team India opens their Asia Cup campaign against hosts UAE on September 10th, followed by the big-ticket clash against arch-rivals Pakistan on September 14th, and their final group game against Oman on September 19th. India will play their opening two games at Dubai before moving to Abu Dhabi to play their last match against Oman.
