The Indian Premier League (IPL) runs in a two-month window from March to May, but the tournament is a hotly debated topic among Cricket Fans for the entire year. Things become more spicy when mega auctions are around the corner. This year, too, there'll be a mega auction coming up in November for next year's IPL, where many big names will go under the hammer and will be seen wearing some new jerseys next year.

But before that, there is another big job that the owners have to do, probably the most difficult job: 'The Retentions'. Deciding the core group of a team is always a tough task, especially when there is plenty of Cricket being played around in the backdrop of the auctions. The retentions will be announced on the auspicious day of Diwali, so, what crackers do the franchises have in store for the fans? Let's find out the retention list of each IPL team.
