The Women's Big Bash is one of the toughest T20 leagues across the Cricketing world with with a blend of youth and experienced talents coming from local quarters and international cricket quarters. Women's Big Bash has played a major role in guiding the young careers of Indian players who have gone on to make a big name for themselves in International cricket. Like every year, this year too the Indian players will be featuring in the WBBL. On this, we'll find out about the Indian players who'll be playing in the WBBL.

The Vice-Captain of the Indian Women's cricket team & RCB Women's team captain Smriti Mandhana is all set to play for her 4th team in the WBBL. Smriti was signed in the pre-auction draft by the reigning champions Adelaide Strikers. Previously, Mandhana has represented Brisbane Heat Women, Hobart Hurricanes Women & Sydney Thunder Women.
India's ace batter Jemimah Rodrigues will be representing her third WBBL side in the form of Brisbane Heat women who were the finalists in the last edition. Jemimah was signed in the official player signing draft. Previously, Jemimah has played for the two Melbourne-based clubs ( Melbourne Stars & Melbourne Renegades).
Deepti Sharma will be playing her second stint in the WBBL this time with the Stars from Melbourne. Previously, Deepti Sharma has represented the Sydney Thunder Women in the past.
Dayalan Hemalatha will be playing in the league for the first time. Hemalatha has been a consistent performer in the WPL and for the Indian Cricket Team.
Just like Dayalan Hemalatha, Shikha Pandey will also be featuring in her first stint in the WBBL. Shikha Pandey was a constant member of the Indian lineup till 2022. Since then, she's been playing in domestic cricket and the WPL. In WPL, Shikha plays for the Delhi Capitals Women under the leadership of former Aussie captain Meg Lanning.
Yastika Bhatia will be playing alongside her Indian teammate Deepti Sharma at the Melbourne Stars. Yastika has had a tough year with poor form and injury, she also missed the bus to be in the Indian squad for the recently concluded Women's T20 World Cup in the UAE. With Team India looking for a revamp in their T20I side it's an ideal opportunity for Yastika Bhatia to play in the Australian conditions to get her mojo back.
