In a stunning display of cricketing prowess, Team India scripted history by defeating Australia by a massive margin of 295 runs in the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Optus Stadium in Perth. This victory marks India's first-ever Test win at this venue, breaking Australia's previously undefeated record.

A Dominant Performance by India

The Indian team exhibited complete dominance throughout the match. In the first innings Indian team collapsed and got all out on just 150 runs, at one-moment team India was completely out of the game but then the bowlers took charge and brought India into the match by bowling out Australia on just 104 runs with Jasprit Bumrah leading the Indians bowling attack with a five-wicket haul and taking important 46 runs leads

In the second innings, centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli propelled India to a formidable total of 487 runs as they declared 250 runs, setting a challenging target of 534 runs for Australia. In response, Australia was bundled out for a paltry 238 runs. Despite a valiant effort from Travis Head, the Australian batting lineup couldn't withstand the pressure from the Indian bowlers. Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj were once again the tormentors-in-chief, picking up crucial wickets to seal the victory for India.
