In the second innings, centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli propelled India to a formidable total of 487 runs as they declared 250 runs, setting a challenging target of 534 runs for Australia. In response, Australia was bundled out for a paltry 238 runs. Despite a valiant effort from Travis Head, the Australian batting lineup couldn't withstand the pressure from the Indian bowlers.
