Highest Team's Total Ever Recorded in the IPL

The IPL 2024 season is experiencing unparalleled hitting from teams, with team scores frequently exceeding 200.

Sunrisers Hyderabad set their own IPL record by scoring 287 for three against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 15, 2024. SRH's score is also the second-highest in T20 cricket, after only Nepal's 314/3 against Mongolia in 2023. In response, RCB scored 262 for seven in a 25-run loss, the greatest T20 score ever recorded by the losing team.

SRH earlier scored 277/3 against the Mumbai Indians, the greatest T20 aggregate and the most sixes in a single match.

The Kolkata Knight Riders came close with a blazing 272 for seven against the Delhi Capitals in Visakhapatnam. The only other teams with 250-plus totals in the IPL are Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants.

SRH is in beast mode

RCB retained the mark for highest runs for more than a decade, scoring 263 runs against Pune Warriors India in Bengaluru in 2013 on the back of Chris Gayle's a record 175 not out.
SRH raised the bar again against RCB at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Travis Head's 39-ball century propelled the Orange Army to 150 runs in just the 12th over of play. The attack continued despite Head's departure, with Heinrich Klaasen and Aiden Markram driving the side to 200 in 15 overs.
