The England Cricket Board has announced their home season schedule for next year. With India Men's and Women's teams set to tour the UK. The Indian Men's Cricket team is slated to play 5 tests that will be a part of the next World Test Championship Cycle for 2027. The women's team will be playing two white-ball series of 3 ODI's and 5 T20Is from June 28 to July 22.
Leeds will be hosting the first test between England and India from 20th June. The second test match will be staged at Birmingham on July 2, Lord's is set to host the third test from July 10. The fourth and the fifth tests are to be played in Manchester and Kennington Oval in London respectively.
The Indian Women's Team's tour of England will start by playing 5 T20Is. on June 28 (Nottingham), July 1 (Bristol), July 4 (The Oval), July 9 (Manchester) and July 12 (Birmingham). This will be followed by three ODIs on July 16, July 19, and July 22 to be played in Southampton, Lord's, and Chester-Le-Street respectively.
After the end of the India series the West Indies Men's and Women's teams will make a trip to England, both men's and women's teams will play 3 ODIs and as many T20Is. England will kickstart their summer by playing a four-day game against Zimbabwe at Trent Bridge on May 22. England will then play South Africa in a white-ball series comprising of 3 ODIs and as many T20Is from September 2 to 14. The three lions will then head towards Ireland to play a 3-match ODI series on September 17,19 and 21.
"scheduling England Men's and Women's series is something very exciting, the fans with their continued support have ensured that the Women's game has developed further, the results were to be seen in the ashes and Pakistan series last year, hopefully, we'll be able to repeat the process for the India and West Indies series next year," said ECB CEO Richard Gould.
"Playing a series against India is always a tough series, we all knew how close the last series between India and England in the UK went, our women's side is also an upcoming force in Cricket, I'm pumped up to welcome India and West Indian teams to the shores of UK next year," said Gould,
Gould also added that the Indian Women's team will return to England in 2026 to play their first-ever test match at Lord's.
