Star Indian All-Rounder & MI Skipper Hardik Pandya has been showing some blistering form in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Baroda. Pandya continued his dream run in the tournament by smashing a blistering knock of 47* off 23 deliveries to help Baroda secure a thumping win over Tripura by 7 wickets at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.

Pandya clobbered 5 gigantic sixes & 3 fours in his knock of 47 unbeaten, left-arm spinner P Sultan was clobbered for 28 runs by Pandya in a single over, The over read 6,0,6,6,4,6.

This quickfire cameo of Hardik Pandya helped Baroda chase Tripura's modest target of 110 in just 11.2 overs.

This inning follows Pandya's destructive batting performance against Tamil Nadu where he scored 69 runs off 30 balls taking down Gurjapneet Singh for 29 runs in one over who was snapped up by Chennai Super Kings in the Mega Auctions.

HP Goes Bang Bang !!

Earlier too in the competition, Pandya played two match-winning innings of 41 off 21 balls against Uttarakhand & 74 off 35 balls against Gujarat to ensure that Baroda remains at the top of the table with 4 wins on the bounce.

Hardik's brilliant batting form is a very good sign for the Indian team who'll be playing against England at home after the Border Gavaskar Trophy in Australia.

It's been some time since Hardik participated in a domestic tournament, but it doesn't feel like he is playing in a domestic tournament after a big gap. Pandya under the captaincy of his elder brother Krunal has been a different unit altogether.

Baroda is currently in the first position in the elite Group B with 4 wins in as many matches, they are set to take on two tough sides back-to-back in their remaining three group games in Saurashtra & Karnataka. They play their last game against Sikkim, a relatively easy fixture for Baroda.
