The T20 World Cup is over, and Team India finally managed to break their trophy drought by beating South Africa in the finals with a slender margin of 7 runs.
Hardik Pandya was bowling the last over of the game with 16 runs to defend off 6 deliveries.
Pandya, who has had a tough time in the game in the last 6 months had a decent World Cup with both and ball, scoring crucial runs and Bangladesh and England, to bowling great spells against Pakistan, the USA, and Ireland. Hardik scored 144 runs with a batting strike rate of over 150 and claimed 11 wickets.

Pandya now has another good news for him as he reaches the pinnacle in the ICC T20 rankings as an All-Rounder.
There were additional movements in the top 10 T20I all-rounder rankings.
Marcus Stoinis, Sikandar Raza, Liam Livingstone, and Shakib Al Hasan each moved one place above.
Whereas Afghanistan All-rounder Mohammad Nabi dropped four places below to move out of the top 5
