The Indian Cricket Team won the Inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup in South Africa, They defeated the Arch Rivals Pakistan In Joburg by a margin of 5 runs. This World Cup is also remembered due to the heroics Created by Yuvraj Singh as he smashed 6 sixes in an of England's Stuart Broad in an over in a Super 6 game.
Reigning Champions of the Tournament- England
England are the reigning champions of this tournament, they defeated Pakistan in the final held at the Iconic MCG in 2022. Chasing a modest total of 135 England romped home by 5 wickets.
