Germany is all set to host the EURO 2024. This was decided at the UEFA European Champions League annual meeting in Nyon 2018, This will be the first time Germany will be hosting the tournament since reunification, West Germany had previously hosted the tournament in 1988, and Turkey was the other nation to bid for the hosting rights. Germany also hosted the FIFA World Cup in 2006.

When is Euro 2024?

EURO 2024 is slated to be held between the 14th of June to 14th of July, the group stage will run till the 26th of June, 27th and 28th of June will be rest days. The Knockouts will begin from 29th June.

As Germany is the host nation they are placed in Group A and hence they are occupying the A1 slot, The hosts will begin the the competition against Scotland on June 14th. West Germany won the titles in the 1972 and 1980 editions, while the reunited won the tournament in 1996.
