David Warner has hinted at a temporary return to international Cricket, stating that he is still open to playing for Australia in the upcoming Champions trophy in Pakistan. Warner's international career came to an end when Australia lost to eventual champions India in the recently concluded T20 World Cup Super 8 group game.
Warner has had a great career, he smashed 49 international tons. In terms of medal tally, Warner has won the ODI World Cup twice in 2015 at home and in 2023 in India. He has won the T20 World Cup once in 2021. He is also a World Test Champion, a final which Australia won against India at Kia Oval in London last year. The only title that is missing in Warner's closet is the Champions Trophy.
Warner retired from the Test circuit in the home test series against Pakistan. He had already announced that he will be retiring from ODI post the World Cup in 2023. Earlier this year he revealed that he would be playing his last T20 World Cup.
