The Caribbean Premier League has begun with a bang & also with a new flavor with Antigua and Barbuda Falcons making its debut in the league replacing the Jamaica Tallahwahs in the tournament.

With the league just starting to roll on, let's have a look at the 5 emerging players to watch out for in the league.

Emerging Players To Watchout For In CPL 2024

1. Jewel Andrew ( Antigua & Barbuda Falcons)

Jewel Andrew has started the season with a bang by smashing a half-century in his very first match. He has scored 5 successive tons in the school league previously, and he is the first player in our emerging list to watchout for in CPL 2024.

2. Matthew Forde ( St. Lucia Kings)

He is not a rookie and has already played for the Windies and in PSL and LPL, he is a known commodity but still has something new to offer in CPL. Becoming the second player in our emerging list to watchout for in CPL 2024.

3. Nathan Edward- ( Trinbago Knight Riders )

A left-arm seamer from the Caribbean islands, the Knight Riders franchise has had great left-arm seamers across the other leagues, but the Trinbago Knight Riders have been lacking a left-arm seamer for quite some time now. Thus, Becoming the third player in our emerging list to watchout for in CPL 2024.

4. Isai Thorne - Barbados Royals

Another fast bowler in the ranks, Isai Thorne is a quick fast bowler who is set to play for Barbados Royals and has already had a taste of CPL when he was associated with Guyana Amazon Warriors by getting a development scholarship. Thorne has been mentored by former South African leggie Imran Tahir. Now Thorne is all set to play against his mentor in the upcoming CPL. Thorne becomes the fourth player in our list of emerging players to watch out for in CPL 2024.

5. Kelvin Pitman ( Antigua & Barbuda Falcons)

Kelvin Pitman is another young and exciting prospect in terms of fast bowling coming out from the Caribbean islands. Pitman has already tasted success in the CPL having featured for the now-defunct Jamaica Tallahwahs in 2023. Pitman had a great debut scalping 3-27 against Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) getting the likes of Pollard & Nicholas Pooran. Pitman with his young age and raw pace becomes the final player in our list of emerging players to watchout for in CPL 2024.
