Ben Curran is set to play for Zimbabwe unlike his brothers Sam & Tom Curran who represent England at the International level. Ben Curran, son of former Zimbabwean cricketer Kevin Curran has earned a callup into the Zimbabwe side after his great performances at the domestic level.
Along with Ben Curran, Zimbabwe has also called up Newman Nyamburi, an 18-year-old who represented Zimbabwe in the U-19 World Cup. Nyamburi made an impression in the World Cup by becoming the highest wicket-taker for Zimbabwe.

Unlike Ben, Nyamburi has been called up for both ODI's & T20Is in place of Faraz Akram, Brandon Mavuta & Clive Madande, who is out due to a shoulder dislocation. Meanwhile, the rest of the squad remains the same that took on Pakistan last month in the ODI series. Zimbabwe however, lost the ODI & T20I series but, they still managed to win an ODI & a T20I against the Pakistani side.
In the T20I setup, there are only two additions in Nymaburi & Tadiwanashe Kaitano who come in place of Brandon Mavuta & Clive Madande. The Zimbabwe-Afghanistan series kicks off with 3 T20Is from Harare from December 11th to 14th. The ODI series will be followed by the T20I series at the same venue.
