The Australian Cricket Team has called Tasmanian All-Rounder Beau Webster into the squad for the second test match at Adelaide, which is set to be a day-night fixture. The change comes due to an injury scare to Mitchell Marsh. The 2nd test at Adelaide is scheduled to begin on December 6th.
Marsh pulled up sore after the culmination of the first test at Perth, which the hosts lost by a hefty margin of 295 runs. Marsh bowled 17 overs across the two innings, the most he has bowled in the last three years.
Australian Head Coach Andrew McDonald stated that Marsh didn't have the necessary workloads or match practice before entering the BGT. Marsh was filling the void of premium All-Rounder & Australia's best fielder at Gully Cameron Green, who is ruled off the sport for 6 months due to a fracture in the back.
It is understood that Marsh could make it to the playing 11 of the second test but, purely as a batter, ensuring the frontline seamers will have a big job to do in the context of the third test that is scheduled to begin just 4 days after the culmination of the 2nd test.
Webster has earned a call-up after piling on plenty of runs and wickets in the last couple of seasons in the first Sheffield Shield. Webster, after Sir Garfield Sobers became the second batter to score 900 runs in a season and pick up 30 wickets. In this season of the shield, Webster has already scored 448 runs at an average of 56 & also picked up 16 wickets in the process.
Ready to continue bringing his game!

"To score some runs & wickets for Australia A is a nice feeling to have & especially to do it against an India A side which is a very strong side makes it more special. The' A' games are just a level below the test format so it helps me to be in a great state of mind. To get that call-up from George Bailey after the NSW game was exciting."
"I believe, there is a very short turnaround between the Adelaide test & the Gabba test, so I think I'm going there as a cover which the Australian middle order might need in the course of the two upcoming tests, I'm excited & pumped up whichever way they go."
